Imagine the taste of pure, untamed nature. At Honeyman Honey, we produce and supply only single source pure honey from Scotland and beyond. We never blend honey in ANY of our products and never will. Ensuring the honey you receive is exactly as nature intended it to be.
The truth about Honey
All natural honey will crystalise at some point, this is perfectly normal and is actually a sign of quality Honey. But the supermarkets don't like it...so they heat the honey up to near boiling point to prevent crystallization. But when honey is heated above 60° it loses its antibacterial, and antioxidant properties...removing all the good stuff you want, and then the supermarkets add in simple sugars to make matters even worse (And cheaper). Please don't confuse the stuff you see in supermarkets as real honey.
Honey Colours
We understand that different people have different tastes and preferences for honey...that's why we have various flavours from sweet and mild to strong and robust honeys.
- If you prefer a mild sweetness that won't overpower other flavours, light honey is a good choice. It's versatile for everyday use in tea, on toast, or in delicate recipes.
- If you're looking for a more complex and intense flavour, or potentially a higher concentration of antioxidants and minerals, dark honey might be your preference. It often stands up well in baking, marinades, and with stronger-flavoured foods.
It's important to note that both light and dark honey offer health benefits and are natural sweeteners. The best choice often comes down to personal taste preference and the intended use.

We absolutely recognise that honey from around the globe can also be worthy of the pantry...so we will add these Honeys to our product list where we find them and ONLY include those which we believe to be EXCEPTIONAL and we will tell you why they are exceptional. Rest assured ANY honey we import is tested right here in the UK. It has been meticulously checked to meet and surpass the stringent standards outlined in the 2015 Honey England Regulations, Directive 2001/110, and Directive 2014/63/EU.
